The Conference Carrel serves as a powerful tool for students by creating a semi-private atmosphere. It is conducive to learning by reducing distractions and allowing students to focus on one-on-one interaction. The melamine laminate carrel has side walls that extend 9 1/8” past the work surface on both sides for maximum privacy. The Conference Carrel is also perfect for special needs classrooms. Keep in mind that Smith Carrel Add-On Units must be attached to Smith Carrel Conference Carrel Base Units and will not function alone.
